Well, this post didn't come timely as this time-limited exhibition is no longer available, but it remains unknown if it will make a comeback in the future! The entire place is obviously built for Instagram, not that I am complaining hehe...

Let's start with my general comments about the exhibition. It was marketed as Singapore's first-ever bubble tea-themed photogenic exhibition that offered multi-sensory experience to every visitor. Let's face it, the nation is having a boba craze - and I admit that I am one of the boba addicts. While I agree that the ticket prices were considered high for an 1-2 hour visit, it's still worthy for people who enjoy taking photos or families with kids. All in all, it's turning your bubble tea fantasy dream into reality.

Compared to KL Selfie Musuem with a similar concept, I think BBT did a good job in terms of maintenance as well as customer service. We went in mid Dec after the exhibition went alive for almost 2 months. Everything seemed well-maintained and the place was clean. There were a lot of staff standby to help with photos taking and crowd management. Thumbs up!

Each ticket purchase came with a Boba Booster Pack with unique collectible cards and fun game cards. If you collect all 10 different collectible cards, you would win a special prize!

Without further ado, let's get the journey started :D

Boba Factory
First up was a rather empty room with a factory set up that mimic boba production plant.

Enchanted Forest
Next up was the mythical forest of illuminated straws.

Blue Coral Utapioca
The next room featured upside-down bubble tea cups containing black tapioca balls (in plastic version) with neon straws.

Boba Ballin’
It's all about the money, money, money... My favourite room out of all, while acknowledging that it wasn't very much related to bubble tea, apart from the "Boba Ballin" neon sign.

The Secret Room
Do not miss the secret room hidden behind the mirror! Oh well, the helpful staff would kindly remind you anyway. It largely reminded me of the TeamLab exhibit in Tokyo, with colour-changing boba balls being the main highlight. This was also the only exhibition with time restriction and you had to queue again if you would like to spend more time in it.

Boba-jection
Get a dose of IV bubble tea infusion to get your cravings fixed instantly.

Taro-bly Wreck
For you to recreate the iconic Miley Cyrus' scene from "Wrecking Ball" MV! Wearing a dress wasn't a good idea as you were very likely to get yourself exposed. And for a clumsy girl like me, it was indeed challenging to even get myself up, not to mention balancing myself on a rotating ball. I gave up and left this tough job to my boyfriend, while I was just posing at the back.

The wrecking pearl.

Don't forget to redeem special snacks at the counter using the card! I enjoyed the brown sugar popcorn very much as it was fragrant but not overly sweet.

Pearl Pit
You can unleash your kiddish inner self by diving into this giant pearl pit! It's so much fun tossing "taro balls" at each other, laughing at each other, wading through the sea of pearls and taking photos against the barbie pink wall with "Tarobly Cute" sign.

Submerged.

The Joyful Room
Playing with confetti XD This is another time-limited room.

Boba Bae
Apart from the incredible settings, you can customise your own bubble tea drink with your choice of base and toppings. If you like to, you can even more mix everything!

My hair totally couldn't make it towards the end of our journey and the blur boyfriend didn't give me any warning.

Our unadventurous drinks.

Air Bubble Tea
After making your own drink, you would be directed to an area designed to look like an aircraft interior. Welcome abroad Air Bubble Tea!

Lastly, let me end the post with my favourite photo of the day, see you next time! :)
